LIVE: Brett Hankison trial day 2 – former police chief, neighbor testify

Thursday marks day 2 of Brett Hankison’s trial.Hankison was one of three LMPD officers serving a no-knock search warrant on Breonna Taylor’s apartment on March 20, 2022.He was the only one to face charges, but not for her death. On Thursday, testimony continues in the trial that will decide his fate on three counts of wanton endangerment charges. Sgt. Jason Vance is once again talking about evidence collected at Taylor’s apartment, and they are playing Hankison’s PIU interview.Former LMPD Chief Steve Conrad is also testifying. LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

Thursday marks day 2 of Brett Hankison’s trial.

Hankison was one of three LMPD officers serving a no-knock search warrant on Breonna Taylor’s apartment on March 20, 2022.

He was the only one to face charges, but not for her death. On Thursday, testimony continues in the trial that will decide his fate on three counts of wanton endangerment charges.
