The duo posted 45 of the Red Flash’s 72 points on the afternoon in an 80-72 Northeast Conference matchup against St. Francis Brooklyn on Saturday.

“I told our guys at the beginning of the game, we could make an excuse, we could talk about what we don’t have, we could look at all of the circumstances or we could look at all of the blessings, the positive side of a lot of things. I know we were a little shorthanded, that’s the reality. It’s not an excuse. There are going to be opportunities in life where things aren’t going to go your way. As an individual, you have your choice in how you respond,” SFU coach Rob Krimme said.
